About Us The Marion Indians Youth Baseball Organization is a non-profit organization that builds leadership and teamwork, with an emphasis on the skills of playing baseball. Steve Fish, Marion Independent Head Baseball Coach, started the program in 1999, to create additional levels of opportunities to learn the game of baseball in a more competitive environment and foster the development of well-rounded, goal-oriented youth. The Organization supports the development of players beginning at the age of 6 through their entry into the Marion High School Baseball Program. Our current plans for the 2012 season includes supporting nine teams, 8 Under, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams. Together these teams have a joint team membership of over 98 youths and will play over 300 games including league games and tournaments. We are a member of the Eastern Iowa USSSA Youth Baseball League. "The Best in Youth Baseball" |
